Island Tiki
While on a date In the 70s, we had a Mai Tai at Kon Tiki Ports in
Chicago. Though we loved the experience, our paths didn’t cross back into the Tiki world until 2015 when we had Mai Tais at Trader Vic’s. That event started a renewed interest in Tiki that inspired our back yard Tiki parties and a Mai Tai hunt which took us to over 30 different Tiki bars across the country. We have had the opportunity to share our love of Tiki cocktails and culture with our friends and neighbors (never thinking we were planting seeds for a future business). With a challenge from our son, we created Island Tiki Mobile Bar in January of 2022 to share the world of Tiki on Doty Island, the Fox Valley and beyond.
The Cocktails
Our cocktails are crafted using the original recipes of the Tiki culture. Our menu contains more than 30 cocktails made with fresh juices, top quality distillates, homemade syrups and tropical fruits designed to delight your senses and transport you to Paradise.
As a host you'll choose 4 cocktails from our long list which give your guests plenty of flavors to choose from.
Back Yard or Office
Delicious and beautiful cocktails, crafted from their original recipes, are served from our bamboo bar outside or inside on your deck, pool, lake or family room! You bring the guests and we bring all the necessary bits and pieces to serve the cocktails. In addition we provide Hawaiian shirts, hats and leis to insure everyone is dressed Tiki-appropriate.
